Emmet Finance operates under the governance of EMMET token holders through voting escrow.

The voting process is structured to stimulate discussion around proposals, which are subsequently implemented upon community approval and voting. Proposals must adhere to the governance process outlined below.

Any EMMET holder with over 50,000 EMMET tokens can submit proposals for voting by the DAO.

For a proposal to be adopted by the EMMET DAO, it must secure a vote of at least 70%+ and meet the minimum quorum requirement, currently set at 2,000,000 EMMET tokens.

Governance Components:

Forum: A platform for posting proposals to initiate discussion before formal voting.

Snapshot: A decentralized governance platform utilized for conducting official votes.
