Solidity Engineer

Position Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Solidity Engineer to join our team. As a Solidity Engineer, you will be responsible for building smart contracts in Solidity for the EVM compatible chains. You will design, scope, and estimate complex contracts based on given requirements and collaborate with a small team to plan projects at the task level. Your expertise in Solidity patterns, gas optimization, and deployment to EVM-compatible networks will be crucial in developing scalable and efficient smart contract solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Build smart contracts in Solidity for the EVM compatible chains.

  • Design, scope, and estimate complex contracts based on given requirements.

  • Collaborate enthusiastically with a small team to plan projects at the task level.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners on all aspects of product development.

  • Identify and advocate for team-wide areas of improvement and best practices.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of industry experience in software engineering.

  • Understanding and application of Solidity patterns to solve common problems.

  • Knowledge of gas optimization and the tradeoff between efficient code and readability. Understanding Yul.

  • Experience in writing migrations and deploying code to EVM-compatible networks.

  • Familiarity with Truffle, Waffle, and Hardhat frameworks, including the pros and cons of each.

  • Possesses exceptional judgment, problem-solving skills, and an analytical mindset.

  • Familiarity with engineering best practices such as continuous integration.

  • Ability to work in areas outside of your comfort zone and motivated by personal growth.

  • Ability to work autonomously and make important technical decisions.

  • Familiarity with token bridge, DAO, DEX, architecture.

  • Deep knowledge of Solidity vulnerabilities & security best practices.

  • Proficiency with Git, GitHub is a must!
